WADI Development Programmes

WADI is a holistic development program to approach a sustainable livelihood through tree base farming system. This programme is a horticulture development program to change the waste land same as natural resource management, soil moisture conservation and to support social mobilization effort. WADI project covers 1000 acres of land. Since 2017 WOSCA is implementing WADI program which aims to promote sustainable livelihood for vulnerable communities and enhancing their income security. The program has successfully promoted orchard development in degraded land and envisage a family centric agriculture with greater participation of women through sustainable agriculture, social empowerment. It has also touched health and women empowerment in rural village. Presently WADI program has its presence in Ghatogoan, Banspal, Keonjhar Sadar, Telkoi, and Sundargardh district. Apart wadi patch individual farm land has also been developed through crop diversification on credit approach. WOSCA has provided dug wells, bore well, drip irrigation, patches of lift irrigation, pump set, green house Power Tiller to the tribal people. WOSCA has supported poultry vulnerable Households, supported Spryer and supported 200 Solar light to the tribal people.
