DMF-ASMITA Working Women’s Hostel

With the objective to enhance the quality of life of the working women / girls by providing safe, secure and conveniently located accommodation protecting their rights and dignity and promoting their inclusion in society ensuring participation in the community activities, WOSCA has started a 50 beded DMF-ASMITA Working Women’s Hostel at Satasinga Baniapat location of Keonjhar district. Here we provide accommodation facilities specifically designed for women who are employed away from their hometowns. This hostel caters to the needs of working women and provides Day Care Services (Creche) for children of working women of the locality irrespective of stay in the hostel. It mainly focuses on the vulnerable working women creating an enabling environment in family and the community towards greater acceptance of the working women / girls / widow / separated women above 18 years. This hostel provides safe, secure, accommodation and healthy meals at least twice a day, prepared in a hygienic manner along with Tea and snacks in every morning and evening. Overall, working women's hostel in Keonjhar plays a crucial role in facilitating the economic and social empowerment of women by addressing their accommodation needs and fostering a conducive environment for personal and professional growth.
