Livelihood improvement through FRA facilitation

This program has enabled the people to gain access to entitlement under Forest Right Act (FRA) by facilitating both individual and community to claim their rights through hand holding and advocacy support. This program has tried to ensure the forest and land right to all eligible forest dwellers as per the provision of FRA 2006 for improved wellbeing. Thematically it has improved the livelihood and sustainability of vulnerable people. Forest protection groups have been strengthened in 20 villages and 3440 people made aware on FRA provisions. in 14 villages CFR have been facilitated along with forest rights committee members in 4 Gram Panchayats of Telkoi block of Keonjhar district covering 15000 population.
